Das Thunderfly wurde für diejenigen entwickelt, die die einfache und bequeme Handhabung eines Standard-Sechskant-Tarps wünschen, jedoch etwas mehr Schutz an den Enden möchten, wenn das Wetter unangenehm wird.

Warbonnet hat das standardmäßige Hex-Tarp genommen und ihm kleine Türen spendiert, die je nach Bedarf eingesetzt werden können. Diese Türen können an den Enden mit einer einzigen Abspannleine abgespannt werden, um genau dort, wo man sie braucht, einen zusätzlichen Schutz zu bieten - weiter oben in der Nähe der Enden der Hängematte, wo eine standardmäßige Hex-Form am wenigsten Schutz bietet. Bei schönem Wetter werden diese kleinen Türen einfach zurückgeklappt und sind aus dem Weg, bis Sie sie wieder benötigt werden. Sobald sie ausgeklappt sind, schützen sie die Hängematte vor Regen, der von den Enden des Tarps hereinweht.
