Die neue Li-HD Technologie macht Akkus stark und kompakt: Dichter gepackte Zellen sorgen für weniger Gewicht und schlankere Akkus bei gleicher Leistung. Als Teil des Cordless Alliance System (CAS) lässt sich der 4,0 Ah 18 V Akku an mehr als 110 Maschinen verschiedener Hersteller verwenden: CAS verbindet neun Werkzeughersteller, die die gleiche Akkutechnologie nutzen. Der Akku hat eine lange Lebensdauer durch einen optimalen Schutz vor Verschmutzungen. Durch die Außengummierung ist er zudem sehr robust. Die Kapazitätsanzeige dient zur permanenten Kontrolle des Füllzustands. Er kann lange gelagert werden, da nahezu keine Selbstentladung stattfindet.
