Im Jahr 1967 stellte die Schweizer Manufaktur feinster Espressomaschinen erstmals die Cremina vor.
2002 und 2008 wurde sie technisch überarbeitet und in vielen Teilen weiter verbessert. In über vier Jahrzehnten wurde sie nicht nur zum Liebhaberstück, sondern zur Legende. Bereits in den 70er Jahren bezeichnet die New York Times die Cremina als „die beste Espressomaschine der Welt“ und 2003 rühmte sie die Neue Zürcher Zeitung als “Rolls-Royce unter den einarmigen Kaffeebanditen“.
Die Cremina arbeitet mit dem bewährten Pre-Infusions-Kolbensystem: Dabei wird beim Aufziehen des Handhebels eine kleine Menge Wasser in die Kolbenkammer gezogen und fliesst in das gepresste Kaffeepulver, um dieses vorquellen zu lassen. Beim manuellen Niederdrücken des Hebels wird das heisse Wasser durch das Kaffeepulver gepresst. Dieses erprobte Extraktionsverfahren garantiert jenen perfekten Espresso, bei dem Crema, Geruch und Geschmack ein harmonisches Vergnügen für Auge, Nase und Gaumen ergeben. Der Hochleistungs-Rohrheizkörper aus Edelstahl hat eine thermische Sicherung zum Schutz vor Überhitzung. Für Perfektion und Langlebigkeit sorgen ferner die High-Tech-Dichtungen aus hochwertigen technischen Kunststoffen.

Just right for the necessities!
Very sturdy and made of quality material. Some people may prefer an even larger version if they use more products but thisone fits perfectly on the ledge behind my sink and is just big enough for the products I use daily when cleaning the kitchen. My only complaint is that the drip tray is about ¼ of an inch too short lengthwise so if all your products get a little water on them, you may get some drippage on the counter but I just slid it to the far left side where the sponges go because that's where it's needed most. I installed it backwards because I can't remove the tray from the front due to the sinks edge being raised too high. I also installed the rag holder in the opposite direction so that I can fit taller/more products in the back, I just think it works better that way imo. Overall, I'm highly satisfied with this product.
