Vente fourmilière artificielle en plexiglas est idéale pour les colonies de fourmis vendues sur notre site. Elle peut contenir votre colonie pendant au moins 3 ans.

Lorsque tous les espaces seront pleinement occupés, vous pourrez la connecter avec une autre fourmilière du même type grâce à des tuyaux (fournis).

L’humidité est parfaitement réglable selon les espèces grâce aux deux bords en mousse en haut de la fourmilière. En fonction des demandes d’humidité de l’espèce que vous choisirez, vous pourrez humidifier l’une ou les deux mousses de votre fourmilière.
Le plâtre (mélange non toxique pour les fourmis) a été coulé dans la fourmilière, pour permettre une humidification harmonieuse de la fourmilière.

L’utilisation du plexiglas permet d’avoir une excellente visibilité de votre colonie de fourmis, tout en facilitant le nettoyage. Les vis vous permettent de retirer la partie supérieure de la fourmilière pour la nettoyer, mais ne le faites jamais lorsqu’une colonie est installée dedans ! Retirez le couvercle uniquement si votre fourmilière artificielle est vide. 

Installation de votre fourmilière artificielle : que faire après l'avoir acheté?

Vous verrez sur le côté de l’aire de chasse un trou. Vous pourrez ainsi connecter votre tube à essai contenant votre colonie avec l’aire de chasse, et donc la fourmilière. Ne les brusquez pas, connectez votre tube à essai avec l’aire de chasse et laissez-les déménager à leur rythme. Généralement, elles préfèrent rester quelque temps dans le tube à essai avant de déménager. C’est parfaitement normal.

Nourrissez vos fourmis dans l’aire de chasse (miel, viande, insectes, graines en fonction des espèces) en utilisant une petite coupelle, ou du papier d’aluminium. Évitez de poser directement la nourriture sur le plexiglass, car il sera plus difficile de le nettoyer ensuite.

Mettez de l’anti-évasion autour de l’aire de chasse (comme de l’huile de paraffine, par exemple), que vous pourrez renouveler une fois par mois.

I just received this watch. The watch fits well and is comfortable, light weight and is thinner than others I have had, which I actually like. There is no manual and trying to find one on line is a tall order. I just fiddled around with it to figure it out. Still working on some of the features. It apparently has two time settings which is good if you travel to other time zones without having to reset your time. Just hit the button. Speaking of the buttons, they are pretty tough to push. The display is so-so; some may have difficulty reading it although the numbers for the time are larger. It’s a decent watch but being worth $42 remains to be seen. I was a bit unhappy to receive the watch in an Amazon paper bag envelope. The box was crushed but the watch was in tact. It really should have been shipped in a box.

Takes a Licking and Keeps on Ticking

I love this watch despite the fact that it is really a toy. I love the look of the watch, I love how lite the weight of the watch is on my wrist, and it really does keep good time if you manage the solar charge properly. Other than looking cool on your wrist, this watch has absolutely no functions other than time keeping. The black plastic bezel is molded into the case and does not turn, so don't plan on using that. The watch has no light, the dial numbers are non-luminous and the hands are very limited in terms of luminosity. No buttons. All you can do is adjust the time and date by pulling out what used to be a winding stem in the good old days. The small tag on the strap with Geographic coordinates shown on it indicate the location of the old Timex manufacturing facility (SW of Waterbury, CT). I have a nice ledge at my bedroom window and it gets good western sun for a good part of the day regardless of the time of year. On this ledge you will find a half dozen solar powered watches (mostly Casio) properly aligned to maximize the charge they may receive each day. Note that the description for this Timex watch specifically states that a lightbulb won't charge this watch. You need direct sunlight for several hours if you want to get more than a 3-week charge into this watch. So, I'll leave you with a couple of tips, my friends; 1.) If you are looking for a first watch to give your outdoorsy oriented Son or Daughter, then give them this one. Why? Because it is cool looking, fairly well built, and it actually works, 2.) After you receive your Timex watch, be sure to keep the display mount it is packaged with. It makes a great fixture to mount your watch on for charging and allows you to maximize the position of the solar cells on the dial so that you can optimize charging time. Have Fun! Jimmy
