Der Weidenzaun lässt sich hervorragend als natürlicher Sichtschutz, Windschutz und sogar als Rankhilfe einsetzen. Ebenso verwendbar sind die natürlichen Weidenmatten als Beeteinfassung bei hoch wachsenden Pflanzen oder als Grundstücksbegrenzung. Auch zu Dekorationszwecken oder zur Verdeckung unschöner Stellen wie Komposthaufen und Mülltonnenstellplätzen bietet sich die Nutzung der Naturmatten an. Der Weidenzaun ist etwa alle 10 cm mit verzinktem Draht verwoben. Infolgedessen ist er biegsam und flexibel und dabei dennoch sehr stabil.
