Der HEPCO & BECKER Kofferträger Lock-it ist speziell für die Modelle der R 1200 GS Adventure von 2014 bis 2018 entwickelt worden. Dieser hochwertige Träger besteht aus robustem deutschen Stahlrohr und präzisionsgefertigten Laserteilen, die an besonders beanspruchten Bereichen verstärkt sind, um eine lange Haltbarkeit und Stabilität zu gewährleisten.

Technische Details und Montage

Die Montage des Kofferträgers ist durch das innovative Lock-it System denkbar einfach und schnell. Mit nur einer Vierteldrehung der integrierten Lock-it Schrauben kann der Träger blitzschnell montiert oder demontiert werden. Für zusätzliche Sicherheit sorgt die Option, den Träger mit speziellen, abschließbaren Lock-it Schrauben gegen Diebstahl zu sichern.

Die Anbringung der Koffer erfolgt mittels Halteschlössern, die direkt am Koffer angebracht sind. Diese interagieren mit den Schlossadaptern, die standardmäßig im Lieferumfang enthalten sind und am Träger befestigt werden. Dies garantiert einen sicheren Halt der Koffer während der Fahrt.

Filled with water, it is a decent base to utilize with an umbrella I feel. Not sure if others' bases had this, too, but mine has some kind of object rolling around the side. No way to get it out. Not sure if when the hole is drilled into the top, it's from that? Also, when filling with water, there were unpleasant fumes coming out. Water mixing with the rubber material on the inside? All that said, for the price, this is a good option to consider for an umbrella base.
