Unsere neue Actioncam 7s Plus ist die Actioncam für unsere Zeit. Ob Sie sie beim Tauchen einsetzen wollen (ein bis 30 m wasserdichtes Gehäuse wird mitgeliefert), beim schlammigen Motocross oder auch beim Skifahren – sie wird immer ein verlässlicher Begleiter für Sie sein.

Im Wasser wie an Land liefert Ihnen das Weitwinkel-Objektiv der 7s Plus einen größeren Bildwinkel, wobei Sie hochaufgelöstes Bewegtbild in 4K und 30 fps aufnehmen können.

Bewegtbild kann übrigens mit EIS elektronisch stabilisiert werden (electronic image stabilization). All das ermöglicht der starke Akku, mit dem die Kamera kommt. Dieser ist mit seinen 850 mAh in der Lage, 4K-Videos bis zu 75 Minuten lang aufzunehmen – je geringer die Auflösung, desto länger die Laufzeit des Akkus. Möglich sind mit unserer Kamera auch Fotos mit einer Auflösung von bis zu 16 Megapixel.

Weiterer Clou an dieser Kamera: Unsere Actioncam 7s Plus ist auch zu WiFi in der Lage. Auf diese Weise können Sie sich mit der Smartphone-App (Rollei 5s/6s/7s Plus) für Android und iOS verbinden und mühelos Ihr Film- oder Foto-Material über Ihr Smartphone aufnehmen sowie bearbeiten. Die Kamera hat ein 2-Zoll-TFT-Display (Bilddiagonale: 5,08 Zentimeter), welches ganz einfach per Touch zu bedienen ist. Die Kamera verfügt dabei auch über ein Frontdisplay, sodass Sie mit der 7s Plus auch die Selfie-Perspektive nutzen können. Und noch eine weitere Funktion bringt die Kamera mit, denn auch als Webcam ist sie einsetzbar. Um sie auf diese Weise zu nutzen, benötigen Sie lediglich ein externes Mikrofon, wie beispielsweise Bluetooth-Kopfhörer. Schließen Sie die Cam einfach per USB-Kabel an PC oder Laptop an und nutzen sie dann im Homeoffice.

    This is one of the good ones. There are other brands just as good, and manny brands are worse, but this handles well, rolls down easily, doesn't come off at all easily, and adapts to dips and curves like a champ. Appropriately heavy and dead, I'm happy with the way it smothers panel resonances and even at muffling direct sound, like a big hand over my Uncle Harry's eternally noisy mouth. You can rip the foil but you have to work hard at doing that. Remember to buy a brayer; you can roll overlaps nice and thin. Also remember to pre-wipe the sheet metal with a decent solvent like acetone or Stoddard/Varsol. It should last forever.

    Good stuff, but watch the temp

    I used this in my single cab pickup truck (89 ford.) It only took half the box (10 sheets or 25 square feet) to do the floors, but I bought the big box because I plan to do the doors, back wall, and maybe the roof as well. One thing I learned is that the temperature matters when you’re doing the installation. It was around 55F when I started in the evening, and when it dipped down into the 40s the sheets would not stick to the metal, and were hard to compress with the roller. That’s why I ended up only doing the floors and not any vertical surfaces; i will have to wait for a nice hot day. The other thing is that the foil layer on top is razor sharp at the edges, definitely wear gloves! I didn’t notice until after but I have little papercuts all over my fingers. Aside from those things, the install was easy and straightforward. The sheets cut easily with scissors, and any goo that ends up on your hands or scissors can be cleaned up with acetone (nail polish remover), or lacquer thinner. I would use this stuff again.

    This will work but prep is key!
    I have an older RV that the gelcoat has dulled and is oxidized, but otherwise in good shape. I have buffed and polished in the past only for it to last a short time. I was looking up different products to try and this one has such good reviews, I thought I would give it a try. I bought the kit with the Poliglow and the Poliprep, with the scrubber and the microfiber glove. I started with the poliprep and it did a great job of gettting the streaks and black marks off. You spend a lot of time scrubbing to your likeness because anything that is still on the gelcoat when you apply the poliglow, it will be locked in there. The Poliglow is like a clearcoat that goes over the gelcoat. You have to build up layers and here are some of the tips and tricks I figured out that really helped my finished RV look great. First, make sure the applicator stays damp, this keeps the poliglow more uniform across the glove. Also, stick it in a zip lock bag when not using, you do not want it to dry out while you are using it. I found out that applying this in direct sunlight in warm temps, is the best method. This allows the poliglow to dry really fast. The first 3 or 4 layers will look streaky and dull but this is ok and as you build up the layers, the shine will come back. I found if you do this when its cooler, the layers do not dry as quick and you will get some permanent streaking or running. I had to remove a section I did in the evening because I noticed this. When in direct sunlight, this gave me the best results with no streaking or running. It dries fast and you can keep working. Like it says, do not do big sections at a time, keep it to small what you can reach sections and build those up and move on. As far as how much to buy? I have a 40 ft toy hauler and I got to kits and I had just enough to finish the whole thing minus the nose cap. I have Durabak on the nose cap, so I dont need to worry about that. I ended up buying one more bottle of the poliglow to have for my maintenance coats. Overall, I am pleased with how my 10 year old RV looks and other than some of the decals show age, it looks new again. If I were to buy a new RV, I would put this on right away and preserve the whole RV including the decals. Its not too expensive and its a lot of work, especially the prep, but it does end up with great results.
