They are a little smaller than I expected, but I added a photo with my hand in it for size reference. The size ended up being perfect for our 12-week-old Irish Setter/Golden Retriever mix. He loves grabbing the tentacles and flinging it around. It’s easy for him to hold, shake, and carry, which makes it a great puppy toy. I also have a German Shorthaired Pointer, and it’s definitely not big enough or sturdy enough for her, she doesn’t really play with it. But for a puppy or small dog, it’s ideal. The Tupac is ideal, but losing one star just for durability and size.

We purchased this to keep our dog busy and engaged. He seems to enjoy it. We placed 1 or 2 treats in the tentacles and then loosely tie them. He can not untie them but can still manage to get the treats out. It amuses him for 10-12 minutes which is great. Only downside I can see is that the octopus is going to get grungy soon because of the treats and the treats and the constant licking to remove them. Not sure how it will washup but we will try.
