Because of You was my first read by Emilia Finn, and I'm just gonna say it...I'm hooked. The characters were so real, so fleshed out, that I easily fell into their world and cared about what happened to them. I adored Juliette (with an extra T and E at the end!) and found it really easy to connect with her. Finn writes feelings and emotions so beautifully, which means I felt ALL THE FEELS while reading this book. The opening scene practically explodes off the page right off the bat, and as I read on I was happy to find excitement and mystery and humor woven in with this beautiful (and hot!) love story. Was seriously having withdrawal pains from missing the Rollin crowd. I loved learning more about Grumpy Deputy X and Oz. Jules fits in perfectly and i laughed out loud about Trixie/Bowser.
