Melt blown filters are much more efficient than a pleated filter this allows the filter to catch more particles, keeping your pool cleaner without the use of adding as much chemicals as you would typically need to use. Melt blown filters also have much more surface area than a pleated pool filter meaning it can capture 3 to 4 times more debris on average.
