Helps you breastfeed longer, comfortably*

Nipple shields are designed to help you breastfeed when you are experiencing nipple issues or latch on challenges. The ultra-thin butterfly shaped nipple shield allows breast contact for baby and helps continue bonding as you breastfeed.

Features:

  • Shaped to allow skin contact
  • Protect sore nipples
  • Small(15mm)
  • 2 pcs

Shaped to allow skin contact with the baby

Our Nipple Shields ultra-thin butterfly shape is designed for skin-to-skin contact for baby. Thanks to the shape not only the nose is in contact with the breast but also the chin allowing the baby to smell mom`s scent and touch mom`s skin. Just position the shield over the center of your nipple to make sure your baby can properly latch on the entire areola. Enjoy bonding with your litttle one while protecting your nipples.

Designed to help with latch on challenges

We designed our Nipple Shields to help babies with early latch on challenges and help you breastfeed longer*. For mothers with flat and inverted nipples and babies with weak sucking technique or oral anomalies, the Nipple Shield can provide a nipple shape for latch on, keeping and maintaining a protruded position during baby`s feeding pauses.

Made for sensitive, sore or painful nipples

Nipple shields are designed to provide comfort and gentler feedings for sore, cracked or painful nipples. They can help reduce rubbing and stretching of nipples during breastfeeding so you can feed baby your best milk in comfort.

Babies can drink at their own pace

If mom`s milk flow needs controlling or the baby lacks strength, nipple shields are also a great support. The three holes in the tip of the shield can help rate the breastmilk flow for the baby in case there is an oversupply of milk. This way the baby can drink at his own pace in case the mother is experiencing an overactive let down.

Designed to fit

Nipple shields are available in two sizes to better fit your breast. Small shields fit from 12mm nipple diameter and medium up to 21mm. To find your size, get comfortable and place one of the punched rings over your nipple. Rotate shield clockwise and guide your nipple into the tunnel. Then stretch the shield’s base around the areola. If there is 2mm of space between the nipple and silicone, this is the right fit. Tip: Size are based on the mamilla and not the areola. Not sure? Ask your Health Care Professional for support.

Easy to clean in the hygienic carrying case

You need to clean the nipple shields before each use, which takes less than 10 minutes. Place them in boiled water for five minutes or optionally use the Hygiene case. Place both well-rinsed nipple shields in the case and add 25ml/0.9 fl.oz. water. Then place the nipple shields in a 750-1,000W microwave for three minutes. Let them cool for five minutes. Then drain the water and they're ready to use. Use the convenient hygienic carrying case on-the-go as well as to store your nipple shields and to keep them clean.

Combining breast and bottle feeding

The ultra-thin, soft silicone material of the Philips Avent Nipple Shield is closer to our infant feeding solutions to help seamless transition between breast and bottle feeding when combining both.

Insightful inside scoop of Blizzard
Format: Audiobook
An intriguing, well-written exploration of Blizzard’s history and its staff, from inception to modern day, and their design decisions, successes and failures along the way. I loved the many quoted insights, and learning more than just the surface level story that might be found on typical gaming news outlets.

This book really helps organize a process that is inherently chaotic
Format: Kindle
I'm working on a series of novels about a world of talking animals that grows up after humans die out from complications of climate change. Every species has its own culture. I got through the first book and well into the second before I realized that I needed some way to codify all the cultural details. I had lots of ideas, but no way to organize them, and as I moved towards the third book of the series, which would require creating seven or eight whole cultures, I was feeling overwhelmed. Creating Life and the free templates the author provides as a download are proving to be very useful tool. I look forward to reading the other two books in this series, too.

An excellent book
Format: Kindle
I am a new fantasy fiction writer, and the detail of this book really helped me out very much. As I was searching Amazon for a book on this topic, this was one of the few that stood out. The author also offers continuous lessons on world building through his free newsletter, which I also find helpful. I highly recommend this book. Thank you Randy. L.M. Montes

Both books in this series are worthwhile reference sources
Format: Kindle
Great books--I got both this one and Creating Places. I simply stumbled upon both books online when looking for something about plotting, and I bought them both, and am glad I did. I'm a fairly experienced writer in literary genres, but fantasy/sci-fi are different. The first book I got, Creating Places, was immediately useful as I was creating a land ringed with tall mountains, and I wondered about rainfall--this book answered my question about how mountains effect rainfall! It's not like you couldn't look some of this stuff up in other ways, but having it all in one place was very useful to me. This one still had tips I was interested in, but I agree with the reviewer who noted it did feel like it was more about world building for world building's sake (at least in this book). Plenty of things didn't apply to what I'm writing, but if you use these as a handy reference--rather than a "how to" book, I still think there is a lot of use here. (Plus, when I bought it, the book was under $3, so I figured why not?)

A lot to think on!
Format: Kindle
I've been world building for several years now and thought I'd pick up this book just to see someone else's thoughts. This book really brought up some fun points I've skipped and gave me a lot of tools, can't wait to read the next one!
