Cartier Retro 14K Gold Money Clip or BookmarkThis is an elegantly designed 14 karat gold Cartier money clip. It has a classic retro streamline design. Made out of round heavy gold wire that is 1. 8mm thick, it has been masterfully bent into this clip shape. The curling in of the end wires is a nice touch and looks like a version of paper clips from that day. On a small gold rectangle that holds the clip together are the initials RAF in a blocky engraved font; on the back of this is the Cartier
This is an elegantly designed 14 karat gold Cartier money clip. It has a classic retro streamline design. Made out of round heavy gold wire that is 1.8mm thick, it has been masterfully bent into this clip shape. The curling in of the end wires is a nice touch and looks like a version of paper clips from that day. On a small gold rectangle that holds the clip together are the initials RAF in a blocky engraved font; on the back of this is the Cartier signature. This piece could also be used as a bookmark. A rare retro piece of Cartier, circa 1940.
The money clip weighs 10.8 grams and measures 3 1/8" x 3/4" and is in excellent condition.
