Welcome to the second in this mini-series of booklets. As with the first booklet "The Midas Touch" this booklet is inspired by the classical booklets shared to the community by such giants as Annemann, Berglas and Corinda.I always loved the aesthetic qualities of those booklets and wanted to produce a similar looking series of booklets. When I held The Midas Touch booklet in my hands I was so happy that I had ticked an item off of my bucket list I celebrated by getting all my Annemann booklets out and re-Binged on the content. If you have them I recommend you do this - I find something new every single time.
This booklet is an updated version of the late 2017 lecture notes from my trip to New York City - which was cancelled due to personal circumstance.
My advice when reading these routines (as always) is to customize the routines to fit your style. Don't perform this material verbatim - what works for you, might not work for me (and vice versa). These routines are simple in nature and ye t require little to no setup - I hope that you get as much enjoyment out performing these routines as do I.
Anyway, to save my rambling on we will get right into it now! Enjoy the content.

Great for keeping bank statements clean but random security delays are frustrating

I use the balance reload tool to manage my monthly budget and easily hit credit card sign-up bonuses. It keeps my bank statements totally clean by grouping dozens of tiny e-book and movie rental charges into one single transaction. Most of the time the whole process works flawlessly and the money shows up in my account within five minutes. It is honestly the easiest way to put a hard limit on my family's everyday online shopping.
You just need to watch out for a few annoying system quirks when you load larger amounts of money. Even though it usually works instantly the automated security filter sometimes flags big reloads and freezes the transaction for hours. This random delay is incredibly frustrating if you are trying to add cash fast to catch a lightning deal before it expires. You also have to remember that this balance is strictly non-refundable and cannot be used to buy other gift cards.
Overall this is still a great method for organizing online spending and maximizing your cash-back credit card rewards. It totally fixed how I track household purchases but you definitely have to tolerate the occasional processing delays. My best advice is to load your account a day or two before you actually need to buy a big-ticket item. It works perfectly as a budgeting tool as long as you know the rules and plan for the random security hold.

Great for Budgeting – Instant Balance and Easy to Use

I use Amazon’s gift card reload feature to plan my spending. It’s perfect when I know I want to make a purchase but prefer to set the funds aside first.

Pros: easy to use, instant balance update, helps with budgeting and avoiding overspending

Aussie Approved
Size: Large, Color: Blue
I got a knock off one of these originally and man I should have just stuck with the real thing. My dog destroyed the other one in about 4 seconds. My dog loves this one and has not been able to tear it up, he prefers to just push it around after he gets all the treat out of it which is hilarious to watch. The quality is amazing and it is so easy to clean without leaving a smelly odor on it. It fits in my freezer perfectly and also is soft but firm so I do not have to worry about my dog hurting his teeth. For reference I have an Aussie and I got the large one which is perfect for his size (60lbs). My pet prefers this one over the last one for sure since this one actually keeps him entertained.
