The light colour and gorgeous summer fruits result in an elegant rebel that is crisp and dry in the finish.
Hand harvested from 3 different grape varietals to add complexity, the dry Mediterranean style consists of Pinot Noir (63%) Pinot Gris (34%) and Chardonnay (3%).
Minimum times on skins and pressed to 600 litres per ton to retain freshness and fruitiness. The grapes were co-fermented to allow better integration.
Misty Cove’s Landmark Rose is deeply influenced by old world winemaking techniques. Lovingly handcrafted in small batch quantities, we crafted this wine to reflect the “Landmark” – the attributes and characteristics of the selected single vineyards, which the grapes originated in the Waihopai and Wairau Valley.
