Six Questions Your Crestcom Franchise Financial Model Must Answer

We built this leadership training franchise business plan model using deep research into the executive coaching sector. Key assumptions, including the $75,000 franchise fee and the 19.75% royalty structure, are pre-populated and fully editable to match your specific territory. With year-one revenue projected at $725,000 and a 2-year payback period, this model provides a credible roadmap for scaling a professional services unit.

When will the unit turn a profit?

The model shows a very fast ramp-up, reaching a break-even point in January 2026, just one month after launch. With year-one EBITDA projected at $134,000, the unit moves quickly into the black because the service-based nature of the business keeps COGS (cost of goods sold) low, around 4.7% for materials and printing. Speed to profit is the ultimate safety net.

Maximize Unit Profit

  • Upsell hybrid premiums
  • Increase corporate contract length
  • Optimize facilitator utilization
  • Reduce travel-to-revenue ratio
[dynamic_pic9]

How much capital is required for launch?

You need approximately $111,919 in initial capital to cover the primary startup costs for this US-based unit. This includes the $75,000 franchise fee and $36,919 for the physical hub, equipment, and branding. While the model shows a high minimum cash balance of $1,163,000 by May 2026, this likely reflects a significant working capital reserve or financing buffer to support rapid scaling. Capital is fuel for your sales engine.

Primary Capital Uses

  • Franchise Fee: $75,000
  • Office Improvements: $12,000
  • AV Equipment: $8,500
  • Furniture and Fixtures: $6,200
  • IT and Computers: $5,800
[dynamic_pic10]

What is the expected return on investment?

Investors can expect an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 11.01% and a Return on Equity (ROE) of 2.21. The payback period is remarkably short at just 2 years, meaning you recoup your initial investment quickly compared to traditional brick-and-mortar retail. By year five, the $899,000 EBITDA represents a significant multiple of the initial startup costs. Efficiency drives these executive-level returns.

Key Investor Metrics

  • 11.01% IRR
  • 2-year payback period
  • 43% Year 5 EBITDA margin
  • 2.21 Return on Equity
[dynamic_pic11]

What is the monthly break-even point?

The unit hits its break-even point in month one, requiring roughly $60,000 in monthly revenue to cover the $4,200 rent, $17,500 salary load, and the 19.75% royalty burden. The primary driver for reaching this point is the volume of program tuitions, which account for the largest share of the $725,000 year-one revenue. Volume is the cure for high fixed costs.

Accelerate Break-Even

  • Pre-sell corporate contracts
  • Minimize initial office overhead
  • Focus on high-margin hybrid
[dynamic_pic12]

What is the cash runway and lowest point?

The lowest cash point occurs in May 2026, with a balance of $1,163,000, suggesting the model assumes a large initial cash injection or loan. Since the unit is profitable almost immediately, the runway is about funding the growth of the sales team and facilitator pool. We defintely recommend maintaining a 3-month buffer of fixed costs ($21,000+) to handle seasonal lulls. Cash flow is the lifeblood of your operation.

Protect Your Cash

  • Phase facilitator hiring
  • Negotiate tiered rent
  • Use retainer deposits
[dynamic_pic13]

How do different scenarios impact results?

In a High scenario, increasing corporate contracts by 20% dramatically boosts the year-one $134,000 EBITDA because fixed costs like rent and base salaries are already covered. Conversely, a Low scenario where sales lag by 20% tests the 2-year payback period, as the 19.75% royalty remains a constant drag on margin regardless of performance. Scenarios turn 'what-ifs' into actionable plans.

Drive High-Case Outcomes

  • Aggressive local marketing
  • High facilitator productivity
  • Strong client retention

Literally perfect and exactly what I needed!
Color: Cool Grey, Size: 24x24x12 inch
I can't recommend this enough! It was exactly what i was looking for! I have an annoying habit of researching everything for months before I purchase something that will get used this often. I finally decided on this one and I was very pleasantly surprised. I needed a wedge pillow to put at my back while sitting in bed. Mostly for when I'm working on my laptop. This one was the perfect height and perfect fit for me.I'm a female that is 5'4 and weigh about 117pds. I wanted something firm enough to support my back, and this most certainly does! It had a very pleasant appearance with the light gray sides. It has a removable cover I can take off and wash when needed. It's portable enough to move from room to room, also works great on my couch and it has amazing versatility. It can also be used as a pillow for someone that might need to sleep at a slight incline. It also works if you need to prop your legs up. It came vacuum packed. Once opened It said to let is sit for at least 24-48 hrs to give it time to properly inflate. For me, It plumped right up immediately! Again, from someone that does her research, if your looking for something like this at a reasonable price, this is it!

It was worth every cent
Color: Cool Grey, Size: 24x24x12 inch
I have BPPV. It's a condition where tiny ear crystals come out of place and move within your ear canals - this fools your brain into thinking you're in motion, causing severe dizziness. The most common treatment is the Epley Maneuver, and that actually helps a lot. However, I was going through a period where every single day I'd wake up with severe dizziness. Even if I managed to do the Epley Maneuver and it worked, the entire rest of the day would be ruined because I'd still feel generally unwell and nauseous. I ended up getting a book about BPPV and the author strongly recommended sleeping at at least a 30 degree angle. So, that's why I ended up buying this wedge pillow... I started using it April 26 and today is May 17. Since I began using it as a pillow, I have not woke up dizzy again. That is so huge! It may be that sleeping at a 30 degree angle deserves 5 Stars but thought I'd give this pillow 5 Stars too, as it's been a great experience. If you suffer from this, here's how the angle should be...If you lay your head on a pillow and open your eyes, you should not be looking at the ceiling. With the right angle, you should be looking at where the wall meets the ceiling. If so, you know you're at the right angle. As far as pillow itself, I'd say the pillow case fabric is of average quality. Not really remarkable in any way. It seems decent. Good value for the price. The inside is firm (which is just what I needed) but comfortable, and I tend to not move around much the entire night. I like this very much and if it does start wearing out, I'll definitely come back here and buy another. Would recommend.

A bit too firm but great otherwise
Color: Cool Grey, Size: 24x24x12 inch
I got this wedge pillow primarily to have something to lean my head against (I like to lay on my side when reading or looking at my phone at night sometimes), or to sit upright when reading in bed. It's very comfortable doing both now. It does a really good job at being a nice support for the back of my bed. Only negative is I feel it's too firm. I wouldn't use it as a primary pillow, but it's definitely good for back support at least. While I won't mark it down for this, I do find it very large. If you have anything smaller then a queen it may take up more of your bed then you'd like. Definitely recommend. Hopefully will last quite a long while as well.

So helpful after surgery.
Color: Solid Warm Gray, Size: 24x24x12 inch
Perfect support while recording from abdominal surgery. This pillow maintains its shape and is not overly soft. I used it vertically as a prop for watching television and then used it horizontally to prop myself up to sleep, once I returned to sleeping in bed. I used this daily for 6 weeks or so following surgery. The cover can be removed and machine washed. The non-slip nubbies are helpful. This pilllow is high quality and really helped to minimize pain and improve my sleep after surgery.

Nice wedge pillow but not enough...
Color: Cool Grey, Size: 24x24x12 inch
It came compacted and when I opened it expanded almost immediately, maybe took like 20 minutes to fully decompress. Its soft and comfortable and the cover is really nice. But it does have a strong chemical smell, which is normal for this kind of brand new memory foam, I just put it on a table with a window open near it and after maybe 24 hours the smell was almost completely gone. The problem is that I bought this to have a elevated position when sleeping but the 30° are just not enough for me. I wish it was at least 45° but I could not find any pillow with that amount of degree... it's either 30° or like 75° in the other position. At the base of the pillow there is a little ridge that is comfortable for the lower back but makes me slide down in the middle of the night so I end up almost laying flat with my neck on the base ridge. With my slim build my lumbar area gets some nice support but makes my head almost have a "fall backwards" sensation, I like having my neck have a "push-forward" position with my pillow, but when adding another pillow to try and get to a comfortable position it only makes me slide down even more... :/
