The Remote Audio CABETASD552 is a breakaway cable designed for use with the Sound Devices 552 mixer/recorder, providing a dedicated timecode return from the camera. The cable has an angled BNC connector on the camera end, and a TA3F connector on the mixer end, so the 552's SD recordings stamp timecode information directly from the camera. The timecode run is shielded to maintain a clean audio path on the return, which is a stereo configuration. The cable uses standard Neutricon connectors.
Note: Due to a change in wiring for timecode, standard breakaway extensions are not compatible with this cable.
