Utilizing unique hand-embellished overlays, a technique perfected with the introduction of Montegrappa's limited editions, these outstanding writing instruments incorporate hand-embellished overlays with an 18k gold nib and a brass constructed piston filling mechanism for an incomparably smooth writing experience.
The dragon, the fifth animal in the Chinese zodiac and a predominant figure in Chinese mythology, represents in this edition the year 2000, an auspicious year with a magnificent fountain pen to taut its arrival. The dragon symbolizes power, nobility, honor, luck, and success. It is the only mythological creature in the zodiac, and is beautifully rendered in this stunning silver relief from Montegrappa- a limited edition run of only 366 pieces (one for each day of the year).
