The Spartan rope and grab fall arrest kit is an excellent kit that combines several JSP fall safety pieces of equipment into a convenient package. This kit includes the following items: a Spartan 2-point Fall Arrest Harness FAR0302, a 10m Rope And Grab Kit FAR0810, a Webbed Anchorage Sling FAR0514 and a woven drawstring bag that helps keep everything together whilst in transit.
The harness in this kit is a great entry-level harness that conforms to EN 361:2002 and offers anything but entry-level performance. You can quickly adjust this two-point harness to fit comfortably with an adjustable chest strap and leg straps. Being a two-point harness, it features anchor and positioning loops at the rear dorsal position and on the chest. The chest anchor point consists of two fabric loops used as a pair.
To complete the kit, a 10m long rope and grab with fall arrester is included; this kernmantle rope has several features to prolong its lifespan, including a thimble reinforced loop and stitched and sleeved rope ends. The grab on the rope is non-openable and offers quick and secure fall protection. You can use the included anchorage sling to create an anchor point by looping it around a suitable structure, such as scaffolding.
