Nordica's Sentra SL7 Ti is simply one of the best, high performance, on trail skis money can buy.  Every test this ski has been in, it has been a winner.  At a time when few manufacturers are offering real high performance front side skis for women, Nordica is offering one of the best ever built.  Full camber profile offers outstanding ride, and maximum edge grip.  Top of the line, race inspired FDT binding plate maximizes energy transfer from the boot to the ski.

This ski has one of the most unique constructions on the market, giving it an amazingly light feel on the snow.  Sandwiched in between 2 full sheets of Titanal, and between full ABS sidewalls, the full wood core is Balsa.  That's right; super light weight Balsa. And, unlike other wood cores which are made up of a few laminations of heavier wood, Nordica uses a microlam build for this core.  Microlam is many, very thin strips, stacked side by side and laminated together.  With more vertical layers of glue between the many strips in the microlam, torsional stiffness is very high, and vibration dampening is increased also.  Nordica uses Balsa throughout its line of ladies skis (Santa Ana and Astral) and it works incredibly well.

The Sentra SL7 Ti has all the smoothness and rebound that makes wood cores the best way to build skis.  But, by using Balsa instead of other, denser, heavier woods, and in a microlam configuration, Nordica has built a high performance ladies' ski that feels amazingly light.  Not quite a race ski, and definitely a little more forgiving than a race ski, but it is very, very close.  For the advanced to expert lady skier, there are very few skis that can compare to the Sentra S7 Ti on a groomer day.

This ski is available only with the Marker 11.0 TP2 Light binding.  This binding is built especially for Nordica, for this ladies model ski.  Very tight connection between boot and ski, but in a light weight design to match up with this very light, high performance ski.  This binding fits standard Alpine boot soles, and also the new Grip Walk soles just coming onto the market.  This binding is an absolutely perfect match to this amazing ski.
