The 288-page book is Magic: The Complete Course by Joshua Jay. ("Finally, a book that brings the art of magic into the 21st century!"- Rick Merrill, 2006 World Champion of Magic) - which combines expertise, more than 600 full-color photographs, and step-by-step directions for more than 100 amazing tricks. Each trick is broken down into the Effect, the Secret, the Set-up, and, most important, the Performance, with lessons on what to say, how to direct the audience's attention, where to keep your hands, and more. In the 132-minute DVD Joshua Jay demonstrates 35 tricks, showing both how to do them and how to perform them convincingly.

About Joshua Jay
Joshua Jay is one of the top professional magicians performing in the UK and US. was crowned champion at the World Magic Seminar in 1998, at the age of sixteen. He's a monthly columnist for Magic, the world's largest magazine for magicians; has headlined at the prestigious Magic Castle in Hollywood; performed and lectured in more than 50 countries; and has produced a series of top-selling instructional DVDs for magicians.
