The stereo (dual) eyepiece design displays greater image depth than monoculars and provides more comfortable viewing over long periods of observation. The 400TBL-15-3 features 45x magnification, and overhead and substage tungsten illumination. A user-friendly design complements the range of features that make the 400 series a welcome addition to labs as well as classrooms. This microscope has a single focusing dial and an adjustable post for raising the viewing head to accommodate specimens up 60mm / 2.3" in height. The focus system also includes slip clutch and rack stop mechanisms that prevent mishandling and help make this optical instrument novice-proof.
