"From free-draining gravel soils at the entrance of the Omaka Valley. Taut, youthful chardonnay with grapefruit, citrus, white peach, struck-flint and spicy oak flavours" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, Aug 2020

"Complex, edgy and enticing bouquet of Chardonnay - aromas of gun-flint and spice, grapefruit and apple, white peach and flowers. On the palate - equally complex and loaded with texture. Flavours of yellow and white orchard fruits, riper citrus, still edgy with a flinty mineral flavour then some lees-like flavours of white and brown baking spices. The oak is present, but quiet adding a light nutty and mild toasty flavour and complexity. Great balance and length with an intriguing finish" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Aug 2020

Complex and enticing grapefruit, citrus and white peach characters are complemented by struck-flint, vanilla and spicy oak flavours. This wine is textural, with great balance and length. Immediately enjoyable, this wine will reward cellaring for the next five years.

The Bouldevines Vineyard is located at the entrance to the Omaka Valley, which sits closer to the hills. The soil is stony, alluvial and free-draining. This sub-region is cooler, which allows the grapes to achieve optimum ripeness and expressive fruit flavour, while retaining vibrant acidity.

The 2019 Marlborough growing season had a slow start with below average temperatures and higher rainfall resulting in cooler ground temperatures. Extended hot and dry weather resulted in advanced ripening and an earlier than average start to harvest. The fruit was hand picked in the cool of the morning, then taken straight to the winery and whole-bunch pressed. After pressing, the juice was sent to barrel, a selection of older and new oak barrels (47% new) were used. Here it completed wild fermentation, before aging for 10 months.

The Rapaura Single Vineyard wines hail from premium vineyard sites and represent the best of their region. Each bottle of Rapaura Springs tells the story of a lifetime. Of water and wine, and of generations of family working with nature. The label depicts the rocky aquifer at their home vineyard, and the pristine springs that connect it to our land. The winemakers make exceptional wines that reflect their remarkable landscapes, pure waterways and passionate people.

Good
Format: Paperback
Not as impactful as its predecessor, but still an enjoyable novel. The concepts tackled here are more new adult, though still plenty of young adult to go around.

Beautiful
Format: Paperback
Not as I expected, I kinda was hoping for more of a storyline connected to the first book, or even a pt2, but nonetheless still such a beautiful book filled with love and I definitely say it’s worth reading and adding to your collection ! Just to clarify it does included the old characters but mainly not till the end, and only for a few chapters. Still so wonderful !

I wanted more
Format: Kindle
This one fell a little flat. The ending felt rushed after so much build up. I still am happy to have read it and to learn more about the LGBTQIA experience - even if fictional.

Not as good as the prequel but still amazing
Format: Hardcover
This book made me laugh cry and everything in between. In my opinion, Last Night at The Telegraph Club was a better book overall but this one was also good and i love the way the prequels story was connected to this books main character. I will say the beginning is a bit dry but it picks up towards the middle, stick with it!
