The primary benefit of the QC CL-3100RF is that it operates quietly. Instead of resting on the ceiling of your living space like a traditional ceiling mounted whole house fan, it is suspended in the attic from the rafters which helps cut down on the noise. It also includes acoustical insulated flex duct to keep the noise from the fan you hear in your house to a minimum.
Installing this whole house fan is also very easy and it only takes about an hour or two. You use the included template to easily install the grill which can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
