The beautiful, airy backdrop behind the horses is actually a scenic lithograph from the 1897 World’s Fair, and the faded florals and golden wheat were taken from an 1800’s farmers diploma. The pen-and-ink stars and upturned horseshoe are also antique drawings from the same era. The whole design is trimmed in a washed heritage plaid.

You can also wear it two ways with the plaid on the front of the skirt or the back, depending on your mood.
