Representing classic Hawkes Bay style with a modern touch in the form of smart, restrained winemaking, this 2019 Chardonnay shows off the results of a generous vintage by combining complex stone fruit and citrus aromatics with a gentle, mouthfilling palate of nectarine and delicate nutty notes. Created to celebrate diverse small-production vineyards around New Zealand, the Kemp Road series brings together great arti-san winegrowers, whanau, history and the work of a profession-al artist in one beautiful package. Which a kid or pet could accidentally swallow. It’s like pill capsule sized so just be careful when opening the package.
