The Mishimoto 2015+ WRX Silicone Airbox Hose Kit is precision engineered as a bolt-on upgrade in both performance and style. The two 100% silicone hoses are crafted with four-layers of silicone and heat-resistant embedded fibers for added strength. This kit includes the upper and lower airbox hoses, both of which provide improved pressure and heat tolerance compared to the factory rubber counterparts. This portion of the intake is subjected to oil particles from the PCV system; these particles slowly degrade the rubber in the stock hoses. Mishimoto silicone hoses are more resilient to this exposure and will outlast the factory components substantially. To promote improved airflow, these hoses have been designed with a smooth internal surface, unlike the accordion-style bends in stock hoses. The product is good and contrary to some comments I read it was not a mess to install and went on very nicely. That said I placed on a 71 Baracudda and starting from a 71db I was able to drop that down to about 66 with two layers Kilmatt 80mil

Excellent Sound Deadening Material!

I installed Kilmat Sound Deadening in my truck, and I’m extremely impressed with the results. The material is thick, pliable, and easy to cut to fit doors, floor panels. It sticks very well to metal surfaces and doesn’t peel, even after heating it slightly to make it more flexible. After installation, I immediately noticed a reduction in road noise and vibrations. Worth the money!!
