Franz Beckenbauer - known as `the Kaiser' - was Germany's greatest-ever footballer and one of the game's biggest icons of all time, a World Cup winner as player and manager. But what is often described as a blessed life was in fact a rollercoaster ride with stunning highs and bitter lows. He rose to fame at the 1966 World Cup in England, where after West Germany's final defeat the British press marvelled at the grace of a `beaten but proud Prussian officer'. Yet there was nothing Prussian about the Bavarian boy who flouted authority, disregarded rules and viewed the traditional German work ethic with the disdain of someone to whom everything comes naturally. After a glittering early career at Bayern Munich - captaining them to three European Cup victories and pioneering the playmaking libero role in central defence - Beckenbauer made a controversial move to the recently formed New York Cosmos in 1977. Praised as `the greatest' by none other than Muhammad Ali, he gently warded off overtures from Rudolf Nureyev and partied the night away with Mick Jagger and Grace Jones at Studio 54. Back home, though, people often wondered what to make of this most famous German athlete who was so un-German. Beckenbauer's country had finally learned to love him by the time he managed the national side to World Cup glory in 1990, but allegations of corruption surrounding Germany's successful bid to host the 2006 World Cup made him a controversial figure all over again. In The Three Lives of the Kaiser, leading football writer Uli Hesse gives us the definitive biography of this truly remarkable legend.

Not something I would order again
Color: 1pc
I had high hopes for this tinted sunscreen because the product description sounded like it would simplify my morning routine, but it ended up being a disappointment for me. The SPF 50 protection is a plus, and I appreciate that it goes on without the typical white cast. However, the tint was the biggest issue. Rather than blending naturally into my skin, it sat unevenly and emphasized dry patches and texture that aren't normally noticeable. The shade also felt limited and didn't adapt well to my skin tone, leaving an unnatural finish. The formula is marketed as hydrating and non-sticky, but I found it somewhat heavy and greasy after a few hours of wear. While it initially gives a glow, that glow quickly crossed into looking shiny. It also didn't layer particularly well under makeup and tended to pill when I applied other products on top.

Lightweight Sunscreen but Tint May Not Match All Skin Tones
Color: 1pc, Color: 1pc
This tinted sunscreen has a lightweight texture and feels comfortable on the skin. It spreads easily and doesn’t feel sticky or heavy, which makes it nice for everyday wear. I also like that it’s oil-free and provides SPF 50 broad-spectrum protection. However, the tint was a bit off for my skin tone. Instead of blending seamlessly, it left a noticeable cast that didn’t look as natural as expected. While the formula itself feels hydrating and smooth, the shade may not work well for everyone. It might work better if the tint happens to match your skin tone, but for me the color mismatch and slight cast made it less ideal as a daily tinted sunscreen.

Light, Glowy, but Not Perfect
Color: 1pc, Color: 1pc
This Tinted Sunscreen SPF 50 is a solid daily option. The sheer tint gives a natural, healthy glow without a strong white cast, and it feels lightweight and non-sticky on the skin. Coverage is light but evens out minor redness, and it’s hydrating without being oily. My only complaints are that it can leave a slightly shiny finish and the ingredient list could be more transparent for those cautious about sunscreen actives. Overall, it’s a good blend of tint, hydration, and SPF protection, just not flawless.

Non-greasy, light coverage
Color: 1pc, Color: 1pc
I have been using this tinted sunscreen for 2 weeks now, and it has provided the level of sunblock that I need. Living in a high-altitude desert, my fair skin shows sunspots with minutes after sun exposure without sun block. This tinted sunscreen is now part of my daily routine. The pump dispenser allows for an easy application. I use about 2 full pumps for full coverage. This sunscreen has a really nice scent to it as well. It is also not greasy at all, which is very important to me. I have gone to work with just the sunscreen on my skin but usually apply a tinted mineral powder after the sun screen. This is mostly for the tint, as the sunscreen truly does not leave my face shiny or greasy at all. I do want to repeat that this product has also prevented sun spots for me, which is the primary reason I include sunscreen every morning. The tint is light enough that it blends fully, but does provide a nice even tone. Highly recommend this product.

Emgmcp Tinted Sunscreen for Face SPF 50 Broad Spectrum, Hydrating Oil-Free Sheer Tint
Color: 1pc, Color: 1pc
What I ordered: Tinted Sunscreen for Face SPF 50 Broad Spectrum, Hydrating Oil-Free Sheer Tint, No White Cast & Sweat Resistant, Tinted Moisturizer for Natural Glow, Non-Sticky Daily Sun Cream (1pc) What I received: as above (as labeled). This has to be the absolute worst sunscreen I've ever tried. The ingredient listing is incomplete (see my photo) as there is no ingredient to account for the "tint" (at the very least). The only active ingredient (actual sunscreen) is titanium dioxide. Although slightly tinted, it still leaves a light cast even on my pale skin. It's leaves a horribly oily/greasy film on the skin, and it pills horribly. If you care enough about your skin to use a daily sunscreen, it's worth getting a known brand with full ingredient disclosure and proven skin protection. This C-beauty sunscreen is not it. I don't consider this a quality product nor a good value, even at it's nominal cost at the time of my review. I cannot in good conscience recommend this product - it's a huge disappointment.
