Description

In the case of the oratorio Christus am Ölberge, Breitkopf & Härtel can finally make amends to Beethoven for a slight committed more than 200 years ago. As in-house composer of the Theater an der Wien, Beethoven was given the chance to perform an oratorio there in the Passion Week of 1803. in no time at all, he had produced the sketch for his first and sole work in this genre.

Christus am Ölberge was premièred on 5 April 1803 in an academy concert at which Beethoven's Symphony no. 2 and his Piano Concerto no. 3 were also heard for the first time. The original edition of the full score was not published until October 1811. Breitkopf & Härtel, which published the first edition, disapproved of the opera-like libretto by Franz Xaver Huber so strongly that it had the texts revised after the first performance without Beethoven's authorization. Beethoven bridled at this high-handed intervention and demanded that the changes be annulled. in vain: the printed version was sent out into the world without change and the work was disseminated with this textual form to this day.

Anja Mühlenwegs new Urtext edition corrects this affront and finally puts forth the Urtext.

Great sunscreen & works for kids - even used in resorts!
Style: SPF 50
Terrific! I don’t feel it is as good as chemical ones but my favorite non-chemical one. Used on a long vacation and it did the job! Also didn’t cause pimples like other thick versions of this.

I love this product, especially my husband because it’s all-natural. It contains minerals that leave a slight white residue on the face. While it would be nice to have a clearer texture, it does a beautiful job of protecting you from the sun.

My favorite!
Best face sunscreen I've ever tried and I've tried a ton. I have very sensitive skin and I've left this sunscreen on overnight and it has not caused any issues no breakouts. I wish it had no fragrance but it doesn't smell the worst and my skin doesn't seem to mind. My husband refuses to wear traditional sunscreen but he loves this one because of how light it feels on your face.

Lightweight, fast application
My go-to face sunscreen now. My favorite for rushed mornings when I don’t have much time. Tried a bunch of options including dove men care, Tula, juice beauty, cerave, laroche posay, and lumin. This and Jaxon Lane Rain or Shine are my favorites. Neither makes your skin feel dry or coated in stuff. This one smells like cinnamon to me. Slight eye burn as the alcohol evaporates, but doesn’t get into my eyes or burn during the day. Pretty good discount on Amazon sometimes!

Lightweight but questionable coverage
I traditionally used the Coola face lotion but had switched to the spray for my body so I figured I’d try the face spray. It doesn’t smell as bad as a lot of the reviews say it does. It also doesn’t really smell “tropical” for that matter, but it isn’t unpleasant. It sprays evenly and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy. My only complaint is I still got a little burnt. Full disclosure: I’m super fair and have to reapply every 30-60 minutes, even without getting wet. So maybe it’s not meant for people with as pale a complexion as me. Or I have to constantly reapply, or put the lotion underneath. But otherwise I really liked it and really like Coola products.
