Mr Micks passion for Ros dated back to the late 1960s when his nephew had just qualified from University at Roseworthy. Keen to impress his uncle, he produced the first Ros under Mr Micks watchful eye. Today, Mr Mick Ros revives his intent for the wine in a way no other Australian Ros seems to do.

Sangiovese, Tempraillo and Grenache fruit was crushed, chilled and held cold soaking separately for 12 hours in the press in order to extract vibrant colour and red berry flavours from the skins. The juices were cold settled and fermented separately prior to careful blending, stabilisation, clarification and bottling . Slight residual sweetness remains in order to enhance the natural fruit characters.

Food Pairing: Ideal to serve with food but also great as an aperitif.
