One pair of GoWesty-designed dual-rate front coil springs for your 4WD (Syncro) Vanagon.

These springs are an exclusive GoWesty design. They are made right here in America by a leading automotive spring manufacturer that supplies many aftermarket companies. They feature an ultra-modern, hot wound (just like the OEM springs), dual-rate design based on the manufacturer's knowledge and our personal R&D over the past decade. They may look unusual, but they work. For the complete story on these springs, and a thorough explanation as to why they are the way to go, click here. Please click here for an informative response to the oft-asked question, "If I add lifting springs, do I have to install a longer shock?""

Now you have a decision to make: Do you choose the ZERO lift springs or the 2" lift springs?

ZERO LIFT: These are designed as a direct replacement for all 1986-91 Vanagon 4WD (Syncro) Westfalia campers, and will maintain your factory ride height. If you have the much lighter hard-top Vanagon (or single/double cab truck), you will see a slight suspension lift of up to 1.5". If you have an engine conversion that has a different weight or weight distribution—something other than the Vanagon water-boxer engine—your Vanagon may not sit level. These springs are NOT designed to compensate for Vanagons with engine conversions. If you need additional leveling, we offer spring pads. This spring set DOES NOT INCLUDE our billet aluminum Upper Ball Joint Spacer Kit.

2" LIFT: These springs will provide roughly a 2" suspension lift for all 1986-91 Vanagon 4WD (Syncro) Westfalia campers. If you have the much lighter hard-top Vanagon (or single/double cab truck), these springs will provide too much lift for your suspension geometry. Don't say we didn't warn you! If you have an engine conversion that has a different weight or weight distribution—something other than the Vanagon water-boxer engine—your Vanagon may not sit level. These springs are NOT designed to compensate for Vanagons with engine conversions. If you need additional leveling, we offer spring pads. This lifting spring set requires either our our billet aluminum Upper Ball Joint Spacer Kit or our Long-Pin Adjustable Upper Ball Joints for correct suspension geometry. DO NOT USE 2" FRONT SPRINGS WITH FOX SHOCKS.

Installation & Fitment Notes
INSTALLATION NOTES: Does not require special tools to install. However, the installation of these springs is very difficult, even with a car hoist and all the correct tools. and requires a 4-wheel alignment after installation. GoWesty recommends that a professional shop with alignment tools install these springs. DO NOT USE 2" FRONT SPRINGS WITH FOX SHOCKS.

ADDITIONAL NOTES FOR LIFTING SPRINGS: If you have installed lifting springs (as opposed to our zero-lift springs), you must also install our Upper Ball Joint Spacer Kit or our Long-Pin Adjustable Upper Ball Joints and will need to have the front end re-aligned. It is important to note that our lifting springs will raise your Vanagon to its suspension limit—which means these springs are designed to get your vehicle as high as possible while still maintaining proper alignment specs. Please read this article for tips on correctly aligning your vehicle!

Sturdy, smaller sized supply caddy-well crafted.
Size: 5 Tiers (5.1"D x 39.2"H), Color: Rustic Brown + Classic Black
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Started out asking friends what they use for a cart - to clear stuff off their drawing boards, desks, etc. I've got an unusual amount of "things" in my workspace, and although I keep paints in a separate caddy to one side on my drafting table, the topside clutter was getting unbearable. Due to people giving me things, my interest in a few crafts, and just junk. Mainly I use the my wonderful, old, 1950s school cast-off - drafting table for painting - as it tilts and I have an edge on it. I've been wanting to also replace the top board, too. The usual caddies didn't appeal to me - the plastic ones annoy me as I can't see in the bins at what I should easily be able to reach and cannot see-though the opaque plastic. As I purged the clutter I realized I needed way less than I had and that's how I determined the size of the rolling cart. I use my spare garage and I have a lot of space, but that's the kicker - the more space you have the more things you could have, too. That's my reasoning for choosing a smaller cart. Narrow, to keep it minimal. Black metal to hide dirt. Wheels? a bonus - I'll just pull it back and forth out of its space--it's not going to be a trolley. I picked this one out of several because of price, and size, but I may come back at another time to purchase a larger one for the coat closet - mittens & hats & ski goggles & stuff.  I am going to look at the same brand, but I'm also going to choose one with sturdier wheels.  THIS CART was easy to put together, no issues at all. I didn't time myself - it took a while - under an hour is my best guess due to all the small pieces. I know it was manufactured this way to be able to fit it in as small a space-box for shipping, as possible. It was tedious, but certainly not an issue. Just lay it out the way the diagrams show you - they are perfectly done. It's sturdy enough as a supply caddy - you can't sit on the thing, or let kids romp on it but it's stiff in all the right places and the handle is perfectly placed. The top of it will hold my tablet or phone - next to my table; it's not a decor piece, but the black finish does look rather nice -with the faux wood/wood laminate top. Basket depth is well thought out, too. Coffee cans with paint brushes, some other tools, but the best part is no more clutter taking up space on top of my drafting table and I can actually use it the way it was intended!

Perfect fit
Size: 5 Tiers (5.1"D x 39.2"H), Color: Oak Beige + Classic White, Size: 5 Tiers (5.1"D x 39.2"H), Color: Oak Beige + Classic White
I was hesitant about ordering after reading some of the reviews, however it was exactly what I was looking for. It turned out to be a good investment, however the reviews were correct about the wobbly wheels. For the $ the wheels should have been made with better quality, which would have given the product more steadiness. Overall, a good product and it was easy to put together.

Great addition to my kitchen
Size: 5 Tiers (8.7"D x 39.2"H), Color: Rustic Brown + Classic Black
This fit my odd space between the wall and stove perfectly in height and width, I just wish it was long enough to go to the back wall. I found a tall shelf to fill the gap. The look of the cart accents my decor and will continue to match after I paint my cabinets. Assembly was straight forward and easy. Took about 10 minutes. The instructions were clear. The wheels don't like my tile for some reason so I'll have to get new ones from the hardware store, something that isn't plastic. This isn't an issue for the cart necessarily, my floor wasn't the best install. This cart works well on my other floors.
