Montblanc releases the newest in their line of Legend of Zodiacs pens and commemorates 2022 with The Tiger, a Limited Edition 512 (8x8x8) fountain pen dedicated to the Chinese Zodiac sign of the Tiger and honoring the number 8, considered in China to be a very lucky number. The Ag 925 sterling silver cap is hand engraved with the image of a tiger, and the rose-tone gold-coated barrel is adorned with a delicately engraved ornaments inspired by the "lucky cloud" motif. The rose-tone gold-coated cone is set with a blue sapphire in reference to the birthstone of the Tiger sign. The current Year of the Tiger, 2022, is engraved on the cap ring alongside the last six years that fall under the sign of the tiger. The cap is crowned by the Montblanc emblem in mother-of-pearl. The nib, made of Au 750 (18k) solid gold is adorned with a fine engraving of the tiger symbol.
