The Traditional Fivewall Polycarbonate Greenhouse is one of the most energy-efficient hobby greenhouse kits available, designed to reduce heating costs while providing durability and insulation. Its 16mm thick polycarbonate panels feature four dead air spaces, giving it an impressive R-value of 3.03—a 50% reduction in energy use compared to standard 6mm polycarbonate. While the light transmission is slightly lower at 62% compared to most 6mm twin-wall panels that offer 80%, this trade-off results in superior energy efficiency. The greenhouse is built with a heavy-duty aluminum frame in green or white, 16mm five-wall polycarbonate covering, extra-high sidewalls, and double-wide roof vents. Additionally, all Traditional Series greenhouses have straight eaves.
Designed for strength and convenience, it features a sturdy aluminum frame, 5' 6" high sidewalls for extra space, and a storm door with a locking latch, screen, and tempered glass windows. It includes all necessary stainless steel hardware and is engineered to withstand a 30 lb snow load and winds up to 90 mph. The kit comes with pre-cut polycarbonate panels, screws, bolts, capping, and sealants for easy assembly. Installation is made simple with step-by-step video guidance and detailed instructions. The frame has a lifetime warranty, while the polycarbonate coverings are covered for 10 years.
Traditional Fivewall Polycarbonate Greenhouse come standard with a single door, 32" wide x 76" tall with adjustable glass and screen for ventilation. Each greenhouse includes from one to three automatic vents depending on the size you order.
