Taittinger is one of Champagne's most famous houses. Based in the city of Reims, Taittinger is known for its Chardonnay-dominant cuvées, the pinnacle of which is the blanc de blancs prestige cuvée, Comtes de Champagne. The house was established under Pierre Taittinger in 1932. His son François took the reins in 1945 and built up the cellars and the vineyards, establishing Taittinger as a top Champagne house. In 2005, the company was sold to US investment group Starwood, but was bought back a year later by the family.Comtes de Champagne is Taittinger's top wine, and was first made in the 1952 vintage. The grapes are mostly sourced from grand cru vineyards across Avizé, Chouilly and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.
Lots of bright rich lemon, ripe apple and tropical notes like pineapple and yellow plum. The fruit grows more on the palate, with additions of spice, hints of creamy custard and ten years lees ageing has filled out the mid palate with a chalky richness and mineral twist. It finishes elegant and light with a twist of saline.

So bad it’s hard to believe

I bought this to see the story about the half-jaw white elite, one of my favorite characters. In that regard it was fantastic. That story and its art are epic. The next two stories were HORRENDOUS. The middle two stories truly look like they were drawn by talented 8th graders. The dialogue is cringe for the second story and the third story is wordless. There are also resolution issues throughout. Pictures don’t really get across just how UGLY the middle two stories are. The fourth and last story looks like an actual professional artist did it, but I’m too traumatized to try to read it. The foreword is insufferable and irrelevant and the end of the book is filled with fan art that is not quite charming in a book I paid money for.

Worth the Money

Love this book and I’m happy I bought it new. It came in perfect condition. It’s so nicely put together with high quality images of the main game, even the three DLC games. I like reading the huge list of dialog that the characters have. I learned things about the game I never knew. Ex,the ice goddess and the fire god having a relationship. It even goes into detail about Comrades. The art from the competition Illustrations. It’s my favorite page. I hope other people learn a few things from it like I did. It’s great for a collector and such a pretty book. Worth it! Buy it. Would buy this again!
