Description: 

A 1990's custom ordered 32" medium scale version of the Stanley Clarke Signature bass.

If you are looking at this you are already well aware of the Alembic reputation for exception build quality and playability. Maple and purpleheart neck through body construction with an ebony fretboard. Mahogany body with what appears to be either a walnut or perhaps Madagascar Ebony top. Headstock appears to be Macassar ebony top and back. All original condition.

Previous owner left a few moved and filled strap holes including one on the top.

Body is in overall very good condition showing some light surface marks and a few filled holes from where the previous owner had moved around the strap button, but they have been professionally filled and besides that body shows no major damage or blemishes. 

Neck is in excellent shape through the body up to the headstock and fairly slim for a fast and comfortable feel.

Headstock shows some very light wear but overall is in good condition with no major damage..

Fretboard and inlays remain in very good shape. Frets show some very light wear but have no issues with buzzing or dead spots and still have tons of life in them.

Hardware is overall in very good shape but shows some tarnishing, patina, pitting, and wear in some areas, particularly on the bridge but otherwise is all in good working order. 

Electronics work perfectly and have been thoroughly inspected and cleaned. Pickups sound absolutely amazing. Features a set of Active SBII silent single coil pickups that sound incredible.

Featuring controls for volume, pickup blend, 2 tone controls, and 2 filter "Q" switches giving it incredible versatility. 

Bridge pickup has a small crack that has been glued.

This bass is truly a work of art! Plays incredibly well, and has a unique Hifi sound that you can really only get with an Alembic. Has been fully inspected and set up by our tech and ready for a new home. Includes Hard case.
