| Remarks | The heat treatment does not directly improve brake performance. The heat treatment increases the disc resistance against strains and thermal cracking. It also helps maintain stable brake performance for a extended period of time. _x000D_ The surface of the heat treated brake discs has a burnt colour. Once it is used, the burnt surface will be removed by the pad, and changes back to the colour of normal cast iron. Please be aware that the effect of the heat treatment of the disc will not disappear even if the surface colour changes. _x000D_ our processing of the rotor is, we have shipped in the above package. Were shipped in the package other than the above-mentioned "secondary processed products (slit, heat treatment, dimples, etc.)" will be our warranty. _x000D_ rotor is an image. Decent, but be careful of frequent use.

The looks are very nice, functional if left alone once assembled. After that I would leave them alone otherwise you risk the main male portion just coming loose of the housing, sound quality is decent, nothing to write home about, but again, not very durable. If they could fix that 1 thing, these would be very good buy and value, the rest of each plug is hefty and well made.

Inexpensive part and YouTube knowledge lead to quick fix

Worked perfectly!

Have an older Mercury 40hp 2 stroke. This Solenoid worked perfectly. It is not that easy to install, due to the design of the engine. It does require a bit of patient and the right tools to do it. If you have big hands and don't do this type of repair to often, call a friend that is better than you to get some help :)
I have an older engine but it runs like charm. I will order an extra Solenoid and place in the box of "important spare parts" for the future.
Very good experience for the purchase and overall quality of the part.

It works as it should...
Size: 96158T-2PCS
Used it in a pinch for stater relay... it works great. Be aware... Mine required metric sockets for the nuts... 10mm for large terminals - 3/8 was too tight and same for smaller terminals 7mm fit better than 5/16 that was too loose. The mounting holes are also spaced closer together than the OEM on a mercruiser 260 in a mid 1980's boat but easy to remedy with a 1/4" drill bit.
