In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.

An A5-sized, landscape-oriented graph notebook made with Tomoe River paper that opens flat. Features pastel artwork by writer, musician, and painter Kyohei Sakaguchi, printed across the front and back covers. The piece was originally used for the cover of the Hobonichi Techo Weeks, and is presented in a horizontal layout so you can appreciate it as a single painting, just like the original. The front cover shows a morning scene, while the back cover depicts the evening.
