Panterra 100 GW features the Power Cage shell design. The famous Panterra fit remains the same, but the overall shape of the outside is slimmer, and the weight is lighter yet again. By concentrating more material in some places, the power transmission to the ski's edge has been increased. But, less material in other places removes unnecessary weight.

This 100 flex version of Panterra is a great intermediate to advanced boot, with almost all the same features as the more expensive, stiffer models. Panterra 100 offers the perfect balance between performance and forgiveness, and is a good choice for any buyer who is moving up from a beginner level, softer flexing boot.

Panterra models now include Grip Walk soles. Grip Walk is a whole new world for any skier who walks any distance in their ski boots. Maybe a hike up to that special spot that is not lift served. Or, maybe just walking in the parking lot. Ski boots have never been this easy to walk in. Alpine soles are included also, so this boot can be used in a non GW compatible binding.

Panterra's incorporates Dalbello's well proven Cabriolet design with THREE important features. (1) The forward flex and lateral stiffness are separated from each other, (2) the location of the innovative Dynalink buckle holds the foot down and back in the shell better than any other buckle system on the market, and (3) the lower cuff hinge points allow a very natural movement of the leg fore and aft. Panterra offers a 3 piece shell design in a roomier, more mainstream fit than found in the lower volume KR series, with the same Power Cuff design with super low hinge points, and the same Dynalink instep buckle to lock the foot down and back.

How does the Panterra 100 fit? The overall shape of the boot fits medium to slightly wider than an average volume foot. Width is average, the toe box is roomy and the heel pocket is nice and snug. The instep is slightly HIGHER than many overlap boots, and the upper cuff is a bit SHORTER (shorter yet if the spoiler is removed) and snug. If you have average to wider feet, an average to higher instep, or larger calves, this will be a great choice for you.
