With the Montblanc Masters of Art Homage to Vincent van Gogh Limited Edition 4810, Montblanc celebrates Vincent van Gogh, one of the most popular painters of the late 19th century. This edition especially emphasizes his time in Arles with design details reflecting the Provencal wheatfields and one of his most famous paintings, “Sunflowers”. The engraved 1888 on the barrel ring - next to Vincent's signature in bright orange - commemorates the year when he moved to Arles. The barrel is decorated in shades of yellow and orange reflecting the sun-drenched landscapes of southern France as immortalized in Van Gogh’s works. Van Gogh developed a looser, freer style and becoming equally competent with brush and palette knife – which he used for chunky, impetuous “impasto” work. His palette knife inspired the platinum-coated clip, while his sweeping brushwork is immortalized in the yellow lacquer of the cap top. Furthermore, his fondness for pipe smoking, to which he referred in many of his self-portraits, is captured in a subtle detail of the clip: the upper part is shaped like a pipe’s bowl and filled with yellow precious resin. As homage for Vincent's fascination of traditional Japanese woodblock prints, the overall shape is inspired by a Japanese woodcutting knife while the cap is made from wood. Definitely NOT the COLOR that’s advertised but not bad
I got this for my son for him to have his 1st official “dressy” coat for certain occasions. It will do for the price, but as I said in the description, it’s definitely not the color that’s shown in the advertisement. Its also not taken in like the picture. But not bad. It’s more of a camel color than a khaki like the advertisement. My son is 5’9 and has a slim build, I bought a L because he’s tall and this fits fine to be honest. I want him to be able to grow into it next year as well. If you have long arms you may wanna size up.

This item was not good quality, so I decided to not not use. It came pretty much wrinkled and folded in some package. And once again, it was not good quality was all wrinkled up you had to Send it to the cleaners to straighten it out and it didn't fit very well. It just wasn't there very good quality, kind of heavy, so so\n I'm not sure if I'll return it or just donate it to the local church. Thank you art cruz
