It does allow light to pass through while still giving you dark sparking star pattern. If unique is what you want, unique is what you'll get. Our first thoughts were that this was going to be an over the top galaxy pattern, however now we think it will really appear to a broad number of owners.
The photos don't really begin to illustrate the amount of sparking color in these overlays. When the lights are off, all you see are the sparking colors. Turn them on and that becomes almost invisible.
They're easy to install and can surprisingly transform the look of your vehicle. Match these with LED bulbs, and it will look even better!

- Dark Smoke LX+ - Premium dark smoke material with air egress channels for ease of installation (helps prevents bubbles). Made in the USA.
- Light Smoke - Standard light smoke material. Made in Germany.
- Dark Smoke Stealth - Premium dark smoke matte (stealth) material with air egress channels for ease of installation (helps prevents bubbles). Made in the USA.
- Dark Smoke Honeycomb - Premium dark smoke material with air egress channels for ease of installation (helps prevents bubbles). Modified light pattern when lit. Made in the USA.
- Dark Smoke Carbon Fiber - Premium dark smoke material with air egress channels for ease of installation (helps prevents bubbles). Modified light pattern when lit. Made in the USA.
- Dark Smoke Galaxy - Premium dark smoke material with air egress channels for ease of installation (helps prevents bubbles). A galaxy full of metallic flake in the light. Appears similar to standard dark smoke when backlit. Made in the USA.
- Red - Standard red material. Made in Germany.
- Yellow - Standard yellow material. Made in Germany.
INSTRUCTIONS
Clean and wet the surface of the overlay and the tail light using of a mixture of soap (1 drop of dishwasher soap) and water can help you align the piece. Place it in the appropriate area and squeegee the water out with your fingers. This will prevent damage to the surface of the overlay. Allow 24 hours for the overlay to fully stick to the tail light. Once completely dry, they will hold up in automatic car washes and against most power washing.
