XTRA-Cool Radiators are built with a special aluminum brazing technique to increase strength. To add more internal strength, the end tubes and outside corners are reinforced where the core is most vulnerable.

Gasket Design:

A common failure point in many OE radiators. XDP's X-TRA Cool Radiators use a proprietary gasket to allow for expansion, contraction, and front-end flex.

Revised End Tanks:²

The plastic mix used to construct the end tanks contains a special fiber reinforcement for increased strength. Reinforcement ribs are added in weak points to increase longevity and help eliminate another failure point.

Upgraded Mounting Points:

The integrated mounting points have been strengthened to add durability. This allows the radiator to stay securely mounted in the same stock location.

End Tank Attachment:

Unlike the factory construction that uses an aluminum crimp strip to join the end tanks to the core, the X-TRA Cool Radiators are built with a heavy-gauge steel crimp strip. Using steel helps to eliminate the tank and core separation common with the factory design.
