Evolv 2400 AI is the top of the line or Premium hearing aid that reduces listening effort and maximises noise reduction in complex listening environments. Starkey claims up to 40% more noise reduction then it former model the Livio Edge.

The top of the line or Premium Evolv 2400 AI hearing aids are designed to maximise speech understanding and listening comfort. Even in challenging environments with competing noise such as cafe’s or restaurants.

Edge Mode

This mode modifies amplification (gain), noise filtering and other automatics to provide additional speech understanding and listening comfort. Experienced wearers often prefer this setting in challenging listening environments. Edge mode is available in the top 3 technology levels.

Hearing Aids plus Health-able

First introduced in 2018 in Starkey’s Livio AI hearing aid family was the concept that hearing aids should not only treat hearing loss but also assist with overall health and well being. This approach stems from research into the impacts of hearing loss on other aspects of health including social withdrawal, depression and cognitive decline. Leveraging the power of the smart phone and integrated sensors within the Evolv hearing aids have led to the development of the following health able features.

Fall Detection & Alerts

There have also been correlations that show people with hearing loss are more at risk of fall related injuries. One health-able feature embedded within Starkey hearing aid technology is the ability to detect falls and alert significant others. This has evolved to have a 97% accuracy and rule out false positives.

Wellness Score

With real time tracking of both physical and cognitive activities the Thrive App can provide a Wellness Score. This is designed to guide and encourage lifestyle and socialisation habits that optimise health and well-being.

Intelligent Assistant

Designed to make the hearing aids easy and ready to use. Also to provide a gateway to information the following Intelligent Assistant features have been developed.

Can be used to engage Edge Mode in the 2400 AI level. This is a machine learning feature where the hearing aids are constantly scanning the environment. If a client engages this within the Thrive App (via a double tap) they are instantly provided greater speech clarity and listing comfort. A double tap can also be used to start and stop audio streaming from a bluetooth connected device. You can also double tap to access the Thrive Assistant. The double tap feature uses the motion sensors within the hearing aids and is ideal for convenience but also people who have dexterity issues. With the BTE and RIC style hearing aids you simply tap on the upper part of the Pinna.On the custom devices you use one or two fingers and just tap on the faceplate where the charging contacts are or just on the faceplate to the wireless CIC.

Transcribe

Simply click on the microphone and whatever you say can be transcribed, saved, emailed, texted or tweeted off to a recipient.

Translate

A real time language translation feature exclusive to the Evolv 2400 AI technology level. There are 27 translation languages to choose from and from within the Thrive mobile App. The Thrive App will transcribe both languages on the screen and then stream the translation in the desired language directly to the hearing aid. Great for people who like to travel overseas.Thrive Assistant

Tap Control

A double tap can be used to engage the thrive assistant. This can be used to change the hearing aid settings. For example you can double tap and say “change my hearing aids volume” or “change to my restaurant memory” or “find my phone”. Can also use as a gateway to information such as what’s the weather like or who won the footy game for example.

Set Reminders

You can also use Thrive Assistant to set reminders. This can include audible reminders for appointments, when to take medications, fill prescriptions or other personal tasks. As an importable health able feature this is available in all Starkey Evolv AI tiers of technology.  Research shows that medication adherence is only at around 50% so having easy reminders built into the Thrive App is likely to be of great benefit. You can set whether reminders are one off or recurring reminders.

Direct Audio Streaming from Android and iPhone

With bluetooth connectivity you can stream audio from both iPhones and select Android phones. This includes streaming your phone calls, video media and music. Evolv AI 2400 RIC R are the top of the line or rechargeable models in this style. This gives them the best noise reduction and listening comfort in background noise. They also feature Edge Mode where a double tap of the hearing aids further reduce competing noise.

They are cosmetically appealing and discrete and with minimal mass in the ear canal you will barely feel you are wearing a hearing aid.
