 The Slovak coat of arms is the official state symbol of Slovakia; one of the main state symbols along with the national flag and national anthem. It consists of a shield with a silver patriarchal cross in a scarlet field, clawed at the ends, set on an azure mountain with three peaks.

What does the coat of arms of Slovakia mean?

The double (patriarchal) cross symbolizes the Christian cross, which has been used since the ninth century in Byzantium and was brought to Slovakia by Cyril and Methodius.
