The bar is crafted from 18-gauge, type-304 stainless steel tubing and measures 1 inch in diameter by 18 inches in length. Featuring an attractive, fingerprint-resistant satin finish, the towel bar is designed to support up to 900 pounds of weight when installed 1-1/2 inches from the wall, making it safe if it is accidentally grabbed and used as a grab bar. To attach to the wall, the towel bar has a mounting flange on either end. Made of stainless steel plates that are 1/8 of an inch thick, the mounting flanges are concealed by snap-on stainless steel covers that are 3-1/4 inches in diameter. The towel bars can be used with any hard surface and require either a Bobrick mounting kit or Bobrick Wingit fastener for secure installation.
