This pouch is compatible with all ConvaTec SUR-FIT Natura two-piece skin barriers with the same flange size — including the flat Stomahesive barrier (SKU 125267–125277) and the convex Durahesive barrier (SKU 413177–413188). How do I attach and remove the pouch from the skin barrier?

Before attaching, allow a small amount of air into the pouch by gently separating the panels, and make sure the Accuseal tap is fully closed. Align the pouch flange with the skin barrier flange and press together starting at the bottom, working around to the top. You will hear several clicks as the coupling ring locks in place. To remove, gently pull downward on the plastic pouch tab while holding the barrier steady with your other hand.

What flange size should I order?

The pouch flange must match the flange size of the SUR-FIT Natura skin barrier already in use. Flange sizes are color-coded: 32mm = small, 38mm = medium-small, 45mm = medium (most common), 57mm = large. If switching from a previous SUR-FIT Natura barrier, match the same flange diameter. If you are new to the system, your stoma care nurse will recommend the appropriate flange size based on your stoma and abdomen profile.

Are the night drainage adapters reusable?

The two universal night drainage adapters included per box are intended for reuse within a reasonable period and should be cleaned between uses. They connect the Accuseal tap to standard night drainage bag tubing. Replace if cracked, discolored, or no longer fitting securely.
