Reproduction of Full Moon I v2 Panel by Mike Schick
Mike Schick — "Full Moon I v2 Panel" presents a compelling synthesis of modern abstraction and celestial symbolism, rooted in the minimalist tradition yet distinct in its tactile and compositional depth. The work aligns with the legacy of geometric abstraction, drawing from mid-20th-century modernist movements while emphasizing materiality and spatial tension. Schick’s use of layered planes—particularly the interplay between the matte black circle and the textured, multilayered background—creates a dynamic visual dialogue that challenges the viewer’s perception of depth and form. The composition is anchored by a centered, yet asymmetrical, arrangement that balances the weight of the black void against the fragmented, vibrant underlayer, suggesting a cosmic event frozen in time. The color palette, dominated by cool tones and a restrained use of teal and earthy accents, enhances the work’s contemplative quality, while the high contrast between the black and the textured background amplifies its visual impact. This piece situates itself within the broader tradition of abstract art that seeks to evoke the sublime through reduction and precision, offering a quiet meditation on the natural world and the human impulse to find order in chaos. Schick’s deliberate use of negative space and layered textures reflects a deeper engagement with the material and conceptual dimensions of painting, positioning the work as both a visual object and a philosophical inquiry. For more art by Mike Schick click here.

Not for "chewers" or puppies.
The toy is not "ruff and tuff", at all. Puppy had it torn to bits in just a few minutes. Nothing like handing your dog the toy while you finish unloading groceries only to come back and it looks like it snowed stuffing in your living room. It's made of a very thin material and is quite flimsy. Won't be buying this brand again. Might be good for an older dog who just wants to carry it around or play fetch. Although it's so light and flimsy, throwing it any farther than a few yards probably wouldn't work...

Favorite Handy Toy
This snake has been around our house for years! My shitzu/maltease dog is tiny, and he has a small mouth, but I call him Diablo! He loves to growl and act like a horrible terror when it comes to fighting over a little squeaky toy, and we use the snake to try to "push" the little toy away from his mouth. He loves to bite the snake and pull on it viciously. The snake has tiny holes in it, but has pretty much stayed intact. I am getting ready to add more stuffing inside it so it won't be so floppy. years of use have flattened it out. I love this thing. Well worth the money for a small-mouthed dog. The squeaker in the head was fun while it lasted, but the beauty of this snake is its shape and versatility as a pull on, and sneak up behind toy.

80lb Dog Goes Wild Over This Pulpo
My dog goes wild over this toy. The key difference between this and other octopus chew and rip toys is that this has a head horn, crinkle legs, and a squeaker in every limb. It makes it so much fun to play with him. After he destroys the sounds, he parades it around for his victory show.
