The flowers themselves are around 6cm wide. They are a striking shade of purple in the centre, fading to white around the edges.

One of the main attractions of Dendrobium Sanook Polar Fire is the longevity of the flowers. Blooms appear from January to May, at a time when many plants are still in their dormant phase, and last for weeks on end.
