Park Series products are flat packed end user assemble and install products. The Rear Plate System is now an option, it is no long required for the rear storage modules to install for this product. If you choose to forgo the Rear Plate System the rear modules secure together and then mount using factory tie down

If you choose to go with the Rear Plate System you will need to drill into your vehicle as well as relocate the spare tire.
