Easy to use, simply soak the cooling coat in cold water, gently wring it out and fasten it onto your dog. The cooling effect starts straight away, helping to regulate your dog’s body temperature through natural evaporative cooling.
The coat’s clever three-layer design works hard to keep your dog comfortable:
- UPF 50+ outer layer reflects the sun’s rays to help reduce heat absorption.
- Water-retaining middle layer stores cool water and creates a lasting cooling effect.
- Soft inner mesh lining allows cooling to pass through without leaving your dog’s coat soaking wet.
As the water evaporates, it mimics the body’s natural cooling process, helping your dog stay refreshed even on hot days. For continuous cooling, simply re-soak the coat whenever needed to keep the middle layer fully hydrated.
For best results, use the cooling coat before your dog becomes too hot. Always provide plenty of fresh drinking water and access to shade during warm weather. Remember that every dog is different, and factors such as breed, age, size, weight and coat type can affect how well they cope with heat.

Cooling coat sizes differ from Drying Coat sizes. Please double check your sizes using the guide below.
Sizes are adjustable using the sliders on the chest straps. To determine the right size for your dog, you need to know your dog’s chest size and 'topline' (the topline is measured from the shoulder blades to the start of the tail).
If your dog is between two sizes we recommend taking the smaller size.
