Aptly named, this indoor plant mix comprises a Elgergrass Prayer Plant, a Parlour Palm, and a Spider Plant and is completely safe to leave around pets. Calathea Elgergrass is an interesting houseplant boasting bright green leaves striped with silver. The underneath of the leaves is a sumptuous shade of dark red, becoming more apparent as the leaves close together in the evenings like hands in prayer, hence the common name, Prayer Plant. Reaching an eventual height of up to 60cm, an Elgergrass Prayer Plant adds a touch of elegance to any room.

Better known as Parlour Palm, Chamaedorea elegans features bright green stems arching with long, slender leaves. Given the right conditions, mature Parlour Palms can produce flower spikes with clusters of tiny yellow blooms. Chamaedorea elegans reaches an ultimate height of up to 120cm, making it an excellent statement plant.

Instantly recognisable, the Spider Plant is a quintessential house plant that never goes out of style. Long slender foliage is variegated with creamy white stripes and arches out to create an attractive shape. Spider Plants grow up to 60cm tall and are renowned for being easy to propagate through new plantlets forming on mature plants.

Whether you choose to display your new house plants together or separately, they don’t need a huge amount of attention to flourish. Place each plant in indirect light or partial shade, taking care not to choose a position where strong sunlight can cause leaf scorch. Water weekly, when the top 2-3cm of soil feels dry and reduce watering during the autumn and winter months when the plant isn’t growing.
