We've bundled together the 5 best charting albums of Teenage Fanclub's discography. Take a gander at the goods!  ALL 180G AUDIOPHILE VINYL!

Included in this bundle:

Bandwagonesque (Ltd. Ed. 180g)

  • Remastered
  • Import - UK
  • Includes 7" single

The album has been remastered from the original tapes at Abbey Road Studios, London under the guidance of the band, and is packaged in a faithful re-production of the original vinyl artwork. The band has selected rarities to include on a 7" with the album. 1991 was a year of bona fide classic albums: Nirvana - Nevermind; My Bloody Valentine - Loveless; U2 - Achtung Baby; REM - Out Of Time; Primal Scream - Screamadelica, to name but a few. Sitting more than comfortable alongside all of these is Bandwagonesque, one of Teenage Fanclub's defining albums. Hugely influential (Death Cab For Cutie's Ben Gibbard released his cover of the entire album in 2017) and with an unforgettable sleeve, a cartoon money bag in punky pink and yellow (which Gene Simmonds is rumored to have sued the band's US label over for copyright infringement) the album continues to be a firm favorite of fans, critics and artists alike.

Thirteen (Ltd. Ed. 180g)

  • Remastered
  • Import - UK
  • Includes 7" single

Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing + seven inch single. The album has been remastered from the original tapes at Abbey Road Studios, London under the guidance of the band, and is packaged in a faithful re-production of the original vinyl artwork. The band has selected rarities to include on a 7" with the album. On release, Thirteen reached #14 in the UK Charts, their highest charting album at the time. This was the band's 'difficult' album following on from the global success of Bandwagonesque but they crafted an album across several months in studios in Glasgow, the band's hometown, and Manchester. The album stands up today alongside anything else they have done, confirmed by the power pop majesty of 'Radio', one of their biggest hits. Although named after the number of tracks on the album, the title is a clear reference to Big Star, a relatively obscure reference point at the time, but a key influence for the band. Another key influence for the album is The Byrds, a reference proudly worn on their sleeves with album's closing track 'Gene Clark'.

Grand Prix (Ltd. Ed.

Arguably the definitive Teenage Fanclub album and their most critically and commercially successful album. For many this album surpasses the genius of Bandwagonesque, something not many thought possible. The record firmly establishes the band's sound and their individual songwriting ability hits rarefied heights - Love's 'Sparky's Dream', Blake's 'Mellow Doubt' and McGinley's 'Verisimilitude', each a colossus in the Fanclub canon. Grand Prix is the sound of a band of considerable individual talent, and yet one that is greater than the sum of it's parts, at their peak. The album has appeared in the Greatest British Albums Ever lists in Q magazine and the Observer Music Monthly and the 1,001 Albums To Hear Before You Die book.

Songs From Northern Britain (Ltd. Ed.

The album gave the band their highest ever UK Chart placing (#3) on release in 1997. Cited by Nick Hornby as one of his favorite albums in his book, 31 Songs, the album shifts focus to a cleaner pop sound than their previous albums, adding lush orchestrations to tracks like 'Planets' while retaining their ability to blend beautiful harmonies and gives it an optimistic and happy mood - as close to a summer album as they have made. Songs... is the sound of a band maturing and being totally comfortable with their own sound. It has a classic contemporary sound that ages extremely well and tracks like the UK Top 20 hit 'Ain't That Enough' and 'Your Love Is The Place Where I Come From' remain firm live favorites.

Howdy (Ltd. Ed.

Recorded at Dave Gilmour's Astoria studio on the river Thames and the legendary Rockfield Studios in Wales, Howdy! Was produced by the band themselves. The band was officially a five piece in the studio for the first time with keyboardist Finlay Macdonald adding an extra dimension to their trademark sound. Tracks like 'Dumb Dumb Dumb' which Blake cites as one of his favorites ("I like the song just because of how it's structured. It has an offset drumbeat."), 'My Uptight Life' and 'Near You' make Howdy! a quintessentially Teenage Fanclub album made as their long-standing label Creation was being incorporated into major label Sony. It remains a charming album where the three-part harmonies and impeccably arranged songs create a positive, uplifting record.

Moisturizing Gloves That Actually Work
Over the years, I have tried so many different types of gloves to alleviate my dry skin. Since it especially bad on my hands I have tried everything. Of all the gloves I have purchased, this pair is head and shoulders above all the others. The first night I used these I could not believe the difference! It was astonishing. My hands were soft and supple for the first time in my life, and they stayed that way for most of the day. The moisturizing aspects of leaving humectants on one's skin for prolonged periods is really a game changer. They fit perfectly and can be pulled on with ease. The crazy bonus is that I was still able to use my phone once I was wearing them. That has never been the case with any of the other gloves I've used. If you have dry skin on your hands, you must try these. One night of use and you will be sold!

A bit small for one size fits all
Purchased these for my husband who has pretty severe dry skin in the winter. The gloves are great but they are a bit small. My husband doesn’t have very large hands (cadet size golfing gloves) & this hardly reaches his wrist so one size fits most is a bit of a stretch. However, these do the job & he likes them. We appreciate the packaging doubles as a reusable pouch.

Awful
I love this brand & expected more, especially for the price. the gloves are super bulky and uncomfortable. they’re hard to get on and off and have a strange feeling when on because of the gel lining. they also smell odd. i wore them so about a week with several different creams/balms/lotions etc. i woke up with them off multiple times which makes me know that i was uncomfortable in them during my sleep. they also caused a weird breakout on my hands up to my wrists that took over a week to go away with the help of cortisone. it was like hives but more rash like. i didn’t bother attempting to return them and decided to throw them out. waste of money, time & ended up with a rash at the end. they did make my hands softer and helped with my cracked skin but at what cost?

Update - Stick to your hands
UPDATED - I am SO impressed with the seller!! They read my review and gave me a full refund even though I no longer had the gloves to return. At this point I would suggest that you aren't taking a big risk to give these gloves a try, a lot of people obviously love them, and if you don't you can certainly get your money back. Many thanks to the excellent seller! __________________________________________ I bought these because it seemed like there were a lot of good reviews. I hated these! I don't understand why anyone liked them... they are lined with thick sticky gel. You know those gel like sticky toys that kids toss at a wall and it sticks? Or do you recall the sticky, gummy hands that you could toss and they would pick up a piece of paper or something? The lining of these gloves make me think of those toys. So my experience is that they are very difficult to get on and once they're on they really bugged me after awhile I need to get them off, but they're very difficult to get off without turning the gloves inside out. ...then you have to try get them turned back to right side out... in the end I tried them and then thought I would try them one more time but they were such a pain in the rear that I ended up tossing them in the trash because I waited too long to be able to return them. One of my saddest purchases from Amazon!

Hallelujah!
My hands were so dry and cracked until I got these babies. I didn't realize what I was getting myself into and was surprised when they were lined with some kind of silicone. Night one, I lathered my hands with whatever lotion I had laying around and went to bed. Now, these gloves are not super comfy because they're so thick, but not so bad that I won't use them. Anyway, wore them several hours and took them off in the middle of the night (they recommend at least 20-30 minutes). In the morning, my hands were baby soft. No cracks. No dryness in sight. AND it lasted all day. I did it the night after and I have not had dry hands for nearly 2 weeks! It's insane. I'm SO happy. Definitely worth it as a little treat yourself.
